Joke of the day

Three pieces of string are standing outside a pub. One goes in and asks for a pint. The barman says, "Are you a piece of string?"

The little guy says, "Yes, I am" and the barman replies, "Get out, I already told you you're barred."

So the piece of string leaves and tells his mates.

The second one tries his luck but gets the same response.

The third piece of string says, "Tie me in a knot and fray my ends." After this is done, the third one walks into the pub. The barman immediately says, "Are you a piece of string?"

The third one replies, "Nope, I'm a frayed knot."
